This month's show features abstract artwork by three noted artists: Karen Simonsen's imaginative oil pastel works on paper, david Jayne's brightly colored and detail oriented gouache paintings on paper, and Jim Matthew's stream of consciousness acrylics.

We opened the Laura Frost Fine Art Gallery in November of 2004. We recently have shown Janet Fagan Smith, Mary Anne Nagy, F.V. Burk, Bonnie Bledsoe, Kelley Callicoat, Dan Sheehan, Nakisha Elsje VanderHoeven, and Dan Klennert. It has been exciting to have emerging and established, Northwest, artists bring a fresh new look to Ballard.
